WELCOME TO CRUSADERS TRACK AND FIELD! HERE IS SOME TEAM INFO FOR THE START OF THE SEASON:

1. Consistent Practice Attendance: Each athlete is expected to attend all practices. Every effort must be made to schedule time so that there are no conflicts with daily practice. If the athlete has a valid reason for missing practice (emergency or illness), the athlete must notify the coach prior to the practice that will be missed. Practice will be held everyday after school at Loyola. The JH will ride the sports bus up to Loyola. Practice will go until 5:00 each day.

2. Punctuality: Each athlete is expected to arrive at practice on time and ready to run. Each practice begins with team warm-up and stretching.

3. Practice Apparel: Each athlete should come to practice ready to run each day in proper running/training clothes and running shoes. We will be practicing outside most days so be sure to have sweat pants, wind pants, running tights, sweatshirt, windbreaker, hat, gloves, etc. (whatever you feel is necessary to stay warm while practicing).

4. Meet Uniforms: Team uniforms will be issued before the first meet and will be collected after the final meet of the season. If you choose to wear something under your uniform (i.e. Under Armor shirt, tights, compression shorts, etc.) be sure it is solid BLACK.

5. Athlete Conduct: Crusader Track & Field athletes are representatives of our school and are responsible for continuing the Loyola Track and Field Team tradition of exemplary conduct! Support your teammates, make a positive contribution to our sport, and act responsibly in every situation. Please take this commitment seriously.

6. Have Fun: Track and Field is a great sport with opportunities for everyone. By training hard and giving your best at competitions you will improve and help the team in doing so. And in turn you will have a rewarding season. Good Luck everyone!

Let’s have an excellent Track & Field season!
