Paty Fields (Loyola 1996), graduated May 8, 2010 with a Master of Science Degree in Applied Management in Kinesiology from St. Cloud State University. She has accepted a job as an Athletic Trainer with the Directorate of Surgical Services at the Naval Medical Hospital, Camp Lejeune, Jacksonville, NC. Paty spent 5 1/2 years in the Marine Corps following high school and before attending college. (Submitted by Becky Fields Cromwell, May 10, 2010)
The Alumni Basketball Tourney took place Saturday, December 19, 2009, and was a great success! Folks gathered at the Loose Moose Saloon in the evening for a recap of the day's competition. Many thanks to Mike Maes and the Loose Moose for supplying appetizers and a place to relax after a hard day on the court! The Alumni Tournament takes place every year at Christmas time. Congratulations to Loyola alumnus Amy Cooper (2009), who is a recipient of the Mankato Area Healthy Youth " Spirit of Youth Award." for her efforts to create and develop the Loyola "Girls' Club,"a monthly after- school club for pre-teen girls. Amy was honored during a banquet Monday, November 2, 2009!
