April 11th Deadline
Evaluated on:

  • Consideration given to scholastic ability and extracurricular involvement, need and relationship to the Madison Lake area.
  • Letter or recommendation
  • The student does NOT need to be from the Madison Lake area.

Knights of Columbus John Hagen Memorial Scholarship
April 18th Deadline
Evaluated on:

  • Academic achievement, Church Involvement, Leadership, Community Service, and Family Role
  • Must be a son, daughter, grand child, niece or nephew of Council #901.

Must be a member of one of the Catholic Parishes within K of C Council #901 (St. Joe’s, St. John’s, SSPP, All Saints, Holy Family, Immaculate Conception, Holy Rosary). Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher and planning on attending a post-secondary institution within 12 months of graduation.

Kwik Trip Community Scholarship
April 21st Deadline
Evaluated on:

  • Kwik Trip’s mission statement: “To Make a Difference in Someone’s Life” by exhibiting service  to others through school and extracurriculars
  • Demonstrate a proper and positive attitude
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher

Page Education Foundation Grant
Deadline April 28th
            Open to graduating students of color who plan to continue their education at a Minnesota school next year.  Students with average grades are encouraged to apply.  Essay and letters of recommendation are required. 
Awards - $1,000-$1,300 renewable awards

Great Clips Scholarship
Deadline May 26th
            Open to any senior who plans on going into cosmetology.
Evaluated on:

  • One page essay describing why cosmetology interests you.
  • Letter of recommendation from a professional (see application)

Awards – 10 $500 scholarships

 

 

Experimental Aircraft Association Minnesota Valley Chapter Scholarship
Deadline: April 18th
Eligibility:

  • Resident of Blue Earth, LeSeuer, Waseca, Nicollet, Sibley, Watonwan, Brown, Freeborn, Fairbault, or Martin County
  • Senior who plans to pursue flight or aircraft mechanic training (you do NOT necessarily have to have aviation as a career)
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 on 4.0 scale

Evaluated on:

  • Academic record, leadership and participation in community service, school and community activities, honors, work experience, education and career goals, and references.

Awards – 3 $750 scholarships

 

Minnesota Association of Townships Scholarship Program
Deadline April 25th
Evaluated on:

  • Essay on current topic: Minnesota is 150 years old. Township government has been an integral part of government in Minnesota since the beginning. Name several functions of township government and elaborate on why these functions were important then, and why they remain so today, even though methods of delivery may have changed.
  • Letter of recommendation from teacher or counselor

Open to current JUNIORS. 
Awards – 4 $1,000 scholarships

Traverse Des Sioux Chapter of MN Society of Engineers
Deadline June 30th
Open to seniors planning to pursue an engineering education.
Evaluated on:

  • Essay on “How I was influenced to pursue an Engineering Career.”
